Break Your Leg

1. What kind of technology is being discussed?

Biotechnology is the technology being discussed. More specifically, it is about bionic hands.

2. What benefits does bionic hands bring to people?

It helps people who have lost the use of their hand regain their hand function. It can help people who were born with no hand, lost the use of their hand. It can help soldiers who have lost their hands in combat. It can also increase the self-esteem of disabled people. It also has added features, such as being able to twist your wrist.

3. Are there any ethical problems with this technology?

The use of prosthetic limbs is purportedly dangerous because if advanced enough, normal people with normal hands. However, I believe that it is perfectly normal to be wanting to be the best that you can be. Using this new technology, I believe that humans can do more things and that we can have more potential if we all have better brains in the future. :))

Vanilla Hills Leaflet (First Draft)

During the embedding process, there are slight alterations to the way my poster looks. For example, fonts are changed, so they don't look like fantastic fonts. Therefore, the final draft is going to look different.

Also, the first half of the first page is the 4th page of the leaflet. The second half is the 1st page. The other page has pages 2 and 3 of my leaflet, respectively. Thank you for looking. :)

Poster Final Draft and Evaluation

This poster I had enlarged the working space so that it is bigger than normal A4 paper. This means that I can't take screen shots of the print preview. Therefore, in this sample, the lines around the pictures are preserved. Sorry.

This is my evaluation sheet.

My Holiday

I did not do a lot during the break. I mostly stayed home and watched TV and slept. However, once, my dad drove us to our deceased grandmother's house to celebrate her death day anniversary. It was really touching and we chanted and sang, according to the Buddhist traditions, but it was quite boring at times when the monk was singing in Sanskrit for fifteen minutes and all you have to do was just sitting there and bowing at times. It really surprised me that there are so many people in the family. So many cousins came to the family reunion and we talked and chatted away. I was wowed by how tired I became after coming back to Ho Chi Minh City, as I slept for 24 hours the next days. Anyway, the trip was an excellent opportunity for me to get to know my relatives, and it stood out from the other days of drooling on my bed and staring at the computer screens during the break.
